Lunch:
  11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m. (every day)

The cafeteria closes for the day at 1:15 p.m. During hours when the cafeteria does not provide meals, visitors may purchase beverages and snacks at the Refreshment Center, a vending area located inside the cafeteria. The Refreshment Center is equipped with a microwave and vending machines offering canned soft drinks, coffee and a variety of snack foods. Machines take change, $1 and $5 bills. To report a problem with a vending machine or for a refund, call Nutritional Services at 1-502-222-3501

If you prefer to eat with a patient, a guest tray can be ordered through the patient's nurse. There is a $5 charge for each guest tray. Guest trays are not usually reimbursed by insurance companies. A free guest tray is available for the parent or guardian of patients under 12.

Cots
Cots are available for family members who wish to stay overnight with a patient. Ask the patient's nurse to make the arrangements.

Wireless Internet Access
The Baptist Hospital Northeast Wi-Fi (wireless fidelity) Network allows users to connect wirelessly throughout the hospital. Using the free wireless network requires: a laptop or handheld with 802.11b or 802.11g wireless capability. Once a device is wireless-enabled, users will need to set the SSID (or network identifier) to "Baptist Guest." You will also need a standard Internet-ready browser on any operating system. No additional software is required. However, personal firewall software, which is not provided by Baptist Northeast, should be installed on the device prior to accessing the Wi-Fi network.
